We have one full time worker, two part time workers, sessional workers and a number of volunteers.

Project Co-ordinator Caryl Stock amb_CarylStock Caryl co-ordinates 'Amber', so if you telephone the office or come in for a meeting she will probably be the first person that you talk to. Caryl has worked in this role since the project started in 2002 and enjoys the different aspects of her work. She loves to walk her dog (an Airedale called Merlin) and to curl up with a good book. Caryl is having piano lessons and tries to make time to practice every day.
       
Assistant to Project Co-Ordinator  Sharyn Williams sharyn1 Sharyn has been involved with The Amber Project as a volunteer and support worker for over nine years. Her role is supporting counselling students and providing practical support to young people accessing 'Amber'. Sharyn has a passion for the outdoors particulary surfing and cycling, she also enjoys reading and watching good films.
       
Church Army Youth and Community Worker.  Wendy Saunderson Wendy Wendy has been working as a Church Army Officer since 2003 and is involved with support work within Amber. She enjoys socialising with friends and relaxing at home with a good film. She also enjoys sewing and runs to blow away the cobwebs when she can find the time. Wendy works throughout the Church Army Projects in South Wales and spends time working with confidence and self esteem issues as well as providing a pastoral support role.
       
       
External Supervisor Sarah Cozens amb_SarahCozens Sarah supervises the Amber workers; she has a wealth of experience and expertise and enjoys working with the Amber Team. To relax Sarah takes holidays in her caravan and is very hardy, touring even in the depths of winter!
       
Volunteer Counsellors Susan Cullingford amb_SusanCullingford Susan has been working as a counsellor at the Amber Project since it started in 2002 and in 2008 she began co-ordinating the Amber counselling service in Cwmbran. She has recently completed her MSc in play therapy. Susan loves spending time with her family and friends and enjoys a good party. Her passions are acting, singing, playing guitar and flute in a band, listening to music and reading.
Elizabeth Bassadone LizzieBassadone_amb Lizzie is a volunteer counsellor with Amber. In her free time Lizzie enjoys going out, catching up with friends or going to the cinema.
  Rachel Worth  amb_RachelWorth Rachel enjoys working as a volunteer counsellor with The Amber Project. In her spare time she likes to catch up with friends and she especially enjoy cooking and the theatre. She tries to keep fit and enjoys swimming and horse riding in the sunshine.
   Julie Mulhern Julie Julie is a trainee counsellor and is enjoying volunteering with the Amber Project. Julie works as a nurse and she loves going to the cinema, eating out, music, going to gigs and reading books.
       
Volunteers 'Friday Evening Workshop' Ann Ali amb_AnnAli Ann volunteers at the Friday Evening Workshop. She attends every week and makes wonderful tea and toast! Ann is really busy during the week and enjoys nothing more than relaxing at weekends.
  Stacey McDonnell Stacey Stacey also volunteers on a Friday Evening. She is very creative and enjoys various crafts. In her spare time she enjoys socialising with friends and family.She loves to travel and enjoys exploring new places.
       
Theatr Fforwyn Cymru (Theatre Facilitator) Deri Morgan-Davies amb_Deri Deri  has been working with the Amber project for Theatr Fforwm Cymru for several years, running the Wednesday theatre workshops. When she's not doing her very cool job, she spends most of her time in her other very cool job as a mum to her small children. She enjoys reading and socialising. At the moment she is taking a break from her work with Amber but she will be back in September.
   Beth Dowsett   Beth Beth works with Theatr Fforwm Cymru and is currently facilitating the theatre workshops; when she is not working she enjoys spending time with her family, having a good old sing song and walking on the beach collecting shells with her children.
   Sophie Thomas   Sophie Sophie volunteers with the theatre group. She is a student at Cardiff University and enjoys socialising with friends and going to the cinema when she's not writing essays! She also enjoys relaxing with a good book and baking tasty treats.
       
Church Army Area Manager Edwin Bates Edwin Bates Edwin is the projects Area Manager and one of its most valuable links with the wider Church Army community. He manages to visit 'Amber' frequently and is very encouraging and supportive of the Cardiff Projects.
       
Amber Dogs Amber amb_topazdog Amber is  a very important member of the team. He attends lots of the workshops and seizes every to opportunity to travel. He also attends appointments with young people and will go almost anywhere when additional support is needed.
   Topaz amb_amberdog2 We are delighted to announce that having covered Ruby's maternity leave Topaz has agreed to continue her work at 'Amber'. Topaz is kept piercing free, which allows her to attend A and E with young people and she is usually able to stay on the ward to offer support to in-patients.
   Ruby RubyDog_amb Ruby has returned to work now that her puppies have become independent. She enjoyed her maternity leave but is delighted to be back in work, which she says is easy in comparison to looking after lively, mischievous puppies.
  Opal and Sapphire amb_opalsaffy  Inspired by their mum's work at The Amber Project two of Ruby's puppies have recently joined the team and we are delighted to welcome Opal and Sapphire (Saffy). Saffy is already working very hard supporting a young person in the North of England, while Opal is currently helping Jasper in the office. 
  Jasper amb_jasperdog Jasper lives in the office to welcome visitors. He is larger than the other dogs which makes him even better to hug.
