Theatre Workshops
The Amber Project works in partnership with Theatr Fforwm Cymru to run regular series of theatre workshops , which work under the broader remit of 'Emotional Wellbeing'. If you have issues arround low confidence or self-esteem these workshops are for you.
The Forum Theatre workshops are open to young people between the ages of 14 and 25 years and involve a range of activities including games, image theatre and improvisation work which lead to the creating of our own pieces of Forum theatre which we often perform in front of various audiences.
The pieces of theatre are always about issues relevant to the group and are often used to train professionals and to raise awareness of mental health issues.
The theatre workshops are held at the Quaker Meeting House, Charles St, Cardiff. They are free of charge and usually run for 8-10 weeks on Wednesdays from 10am - 3pm including 1 hour lunch (refreshments and lunch are provided).

In addition to Forum Theatre, every Autumn the group works on a pantomime. For the past four years we have written and produced our own panto's which have performed at Cardiff's YMCA Theatre.
Our last production was our very own version of 'Red Riding Hood, which took place last December.
Our current series of workshops is full. The next series start in September 2012.
