Marylebone Prayers

Please Pray for our work ...

Women still face huge barriers in accessing vital services. As a result, many are forced to sleep rough, placing them in danger of assault or in a range of hidden and insecure housing situations. The Project is a leading pioneer of support services to homeless women in London, offering accommodation, advice and assistance. Please pay for all the women who are homeless and the organisations who offer them support.

Prayer Letter

Father God, this Christmas time we give you thanks for this past year.

We give thanks for the successess we have seen at the Marylebone project, we give thanks for the opportunities for growth and learning that come from those things we feel we could have done better, help us to embrace the difficulties and rise to the chalenges before us, to see setbacks as opportunities, opportunities to serve those who come to our door better as we grow in experience, patience and love.

We pray especially for all those suffering hardship in this unsettled economic climate, we pray for all those working with the homeless and poor, that they will be blessed with the resources they need, the strength to keep going in the face of financial adversity, the courage of their convictions and the certain knowledge of your love.

Lord, we are but one cog in a machine with many parts, however seemingly small the part, each piece is essential to the whole, so we thank you for those who continue to support the Marylebone project with their prayers, their encouraging words and their gifts, bestow upon them the blessing 'well done my good and faithful servents'.

The Marylebone project exists to bring help and comfort to those who come to our door, bless each and every one of these women, help them to acknowledge that they are precious, valuable and loved, may our interactions each day with them and each other serve to reinforce that reality. May your spirit bring the fresh breath of change, change of attitudes, change of values and change of circumstances.<VAR id=yui-ie-cursor></VAR>

Amen
