Empowering Women into Independent Living
Marylebone Project working in partnership with Church Army and the Portman House Trust, a registered Social Landlord, is a unique exciting project providing a wide range of specialised services for homeless women in Central London since 1891.
The Residential Units provide temporary accommodation for 108 homeless women, with an additional 4 emergency beds. Our fundamental aim is to work towards successful resettlement. We aspire to achieve this by providing effective Keyworking and structured support based on individual client need.
The Day Centre provides a safe and secure environment for women who are street homeless, in temporary or insecure accommodation as well as local women who are isolated and vulnerable. The centre offers practical assistance, advice and information, a basic skills programme that includes ESOL, Literacy and Numeracy and a UK Online training facility.
Project Worker Vacancy (Bradbury House Hostel) Salary £22,600pa
The Marylebone Project aim's to improve the well-being of all clients and residents and to empower women into independent living. Project Workers must have at least one year's experience of working directly with homeless people or experience of providing support services to a range of service user groups. Project Workers provide support and key-working to a caseload of clients. Residents have low to medium support needs, often with a history of rough sleeping and a myriad of issues connected to this experience.

Project Worker
*Female Mental Health Project Worker Vacancy for Valentia Suite (Bradbury House) Salary £22,600pa
The Valentia Suite provides 14 bedspaces to women with diagnosed mental health issues. We provide both short and long stay beds working closely with Community Mental Health Teams (CMHT's) and Crisis Resolution Teams (CRT's) in the borough of Westminster. You must have experience of working with mental health clients preferably in a residential setting. Your role will include inspiring and motivating our residents to engage in the community and preparing for more independent living.

Mental Health Project Worker
*Female Night Project Worker Vacancy (Elgood House Hostel) Salary £17,183pa
You will be based in the projects 2nd stage accommodation but on occasions you may be required to work at Bradbury House Hostel. You will need to have experience of working with a challenging client group with low to medium support needs including mental health. The night worker will provide face-to-face support with existing residents. This position is lone working. Your role may include managing the Emergency Beds carrying out liaison with external agencies including the police and outreach services within the borough of Westminster (Bradbury House Hostel).
Night Project Worker
*Female Resettlement Worker Vacancy (Elgood House Hostel) Salary £22,600pa
You will be based at the project's 2nd stage accommodation. You will need to have a passion and a commitment to help homeless women move out of the cycle of homelessness and to build their self-esteem to enable them to resettle into the community. It is essential that you have an understanding of the resettlement process and have a willingness to work with people with challenging behaviours. This role requires the ability to liaise with various external agencies and up-to-date IT skills.
