Being a Church Army Ambassador

A Church Army Ambassador is a formally recognised position within Church Army and is backed by our President, Archbishop Emeritus Desmond Tutu and our Chief Executive, Mark Russell. Being a Church Army Ambassador can make a huge difference in helping people in your church/local area to understand and support the work we do.

A 'you-shaped' role

You can  choose a specific level of involvement from any number of the five options below. The only qualification you need is desire and commitment to do what you feeel able to do to help our work. Our support team will provide initial and on-going support for you in each of these areas:

Resource Distributor

To distribute Church Army resources to parishioners and update Church Army items on the church notice board. Follow this link for a more detailed description of the role

Prayer Intercessor

To pray regularly for Church Army and to encourage others to do so. Follow this link for a more detailed description of the role

Promoter

To promote the work of Church Army and our work in your parish and local area and to encourage those who make decisions in the church on supporting mission agencies to support the work of Church Army. Follow this link for a more detailed description of the role

Fundraiser

To raise funds for Church Army and to encourage others to financially support the work of Church Army. Follow this link for a more detailed description of the role

Speaker

To speak and present the work of Church Army in your parish and local community, in order to ensure that our work is known and understood. Follow this link for a more detailed description of the role

Contact and Support

We will support you with training, information, resources, updates and invitations to Church Army events.  We will work towards setting up local/regional groups to help encourage a sense of community amongst Church Army Ambassadors.
