What do we mean by:

Church planting
:- a verb used to describe the process (rather than an end result) leading to a fresh expression of church.

Fresh expressions of church
:- a noun describing the consequence/result of the church planting process.'Fresh expressions of church' will differ in a key aspects from 'traditional expressions of church'. This could be the group of people the church exists for, size of church assumed and day of the week it meets.

Emerging church
:- the phrase is an attempt to express succinctly the re-imagining of church that has been taking place in the last 20 years as a response to our rapidly changing UK mission context.
