Publications
We currently have two regular publications. These are:
- Encounters on the Edge written by George Lings (and Claire Dalpra), released 4 times a year. You can subscribe for £15 per year or buy online at www.encountersontheedge.org.uk.
- Research Bulletin written by the whole team on a variety of subjects, released every 6 months (December & June). This is a free download from our website.
George (Dr Lings in fact!) has finished a PhD on Anglican Ecclesiology, and Steve has written a book called mission-shaped evangelism, released April 2010.
We have written books and articles with others to make training in today's mission more widely available. These include Equipping your Church in a Spiritual Age, available upon request from the Sheffield Centre, where Steve was one of the writers. George was in the group that wrote the Mission-shaped Church Report and follow on books such as Moving on in a Mission-shaped Church & Starting a Fresh Expression, all available from Church House Books www.chbookshop.co.uk.
We have also contributed to journals that explore how current theological understanding of Church and Mission is changing, such as the International Journal for the Study of the Christian Church (IJSCC).
