Meet the team...

George is the director of The Sheffield Centre. He specialises in Church Planting & Fresh Expressions, and Anglican ecclesiology. He writes the quarterly publication Encounters on the Edge. 

Claire is research assistant to the team and does Sheffield Centre Consultancy, mainly by e-mail. She is an editor in her own right and has written for Encounters on the Edge.

Mike explores evangelism, spiritual needs and fresh expression of church among Older People. You can download his research series Discovering Faith in Later Life and his regular Information Bulletins from this site. Mike is retiring this year (2009) but the work will go on...

Steve is responsible for our work with Evangelism to post-Christian culture and spirituality.

Andrew is the editor/webmaster of the Share website. He works for us and the Fresh Expressions team with Mike Moynagh.

Beth is the Learning Networks coordinator for us and the Fresh Expressions team, and like Andrew is working with Mike Moynagh

Associates of the Sheffield Centre

CA Peter Hallsworth 

Peter is a half time missional leader for a congregation of Pickering Methodist church and works for two days per week as the district mission enabler. The other day is spent as a consultant with a church in York. Peter remains an associate of the Sheffield Centre, joining us for research team meetings and other occasions. Peter used to work part-time with us for 3 years as part of his first placement after Church Army college.
