Beth Keith
Beth's background is in youth work, after a year out with St Johns' Church, Kenilworth she worked with Kenilworth YFC for a couple of years. During this time she helped start Bless, a youth church developed from mission in schools. She then spent six months in Zambia, developing Christian communities in schools in Western Province.
Since moving to Sheffield she has worked for the youth service, working with young people with learning difficulties and more recently working with community regeneration projects. She has also been involved with ReSource for a number of years, developing training for people starting church in emerging culture. She is half way through an MA in theology and wondering when she'll have time to finish it!
She lives in Sheffield with Laurence and their son Joshua aged 1. They have been involved with St Thomas' Philadelphia leading worship, clusters and a missional community. They are now members of St Aidans' Manor and part of a small faith community in their neighbourhood.
Her role in the Fresh Expressions team is to develop and support learning networks. There's a mix of networks some geographical, some with a specific mission focus, and others with those working within a specific tradition or denomination. Learning networks meet face to face and online at Share. If you want to connect with other practitioners do get in contact ask@sheffieldcentre.org.uk.
