Placements tell me more
Possible placements for 2007-8 include
- the Scottish Borders
- Northern Ireland
- Aliquippa and Branson in USA
- Forbes, Maroubra and Berkley in Australia
- and a number of placements in Kenya.
We are working on opportunities in Canada, New Zealand, Barbados and Jamaica, and successful applicants will be kept up to date as more placements come online.

The first Xplore intake head off for their placements early in January 2008.
Damien Hine will be in Berkeley, New South Wales, Australia, working alongside Church Army evangelist Wayne Pickford. In a tough steel community, the ministry is relational, and community based. Public worship has only just started, with numbers approaching 100 already.
Mike Addis will be based in the Rio Grande Valley in the Blue Mountains of Jamaica. Mike will be focussing on work with young people in this area of extreme poverty. As well as one-to-one work, Mike will help the local church develop a youth strategy.
Ryan Knowles will be based at the Side Door project, in Yellowknife, Canada. With a strong youth focus, Ryan will be seeking to further develop the ministry alongside a significant number of indigenous people. Situated just 250 miles south of the Arctic Circle, Yellowknife experiences average minimum temperatures of -30 during January.
Winnie Amoaku will be in New Orleans, USA, working with an embryonic Christian community as they continue to respond to the devastation caused by Hurricane Katrina.
For 2009 we hope to be able to offer further placements in Australia, Canada, Jamaica and USA, as well as in Kenya.
