Raising up evangelists to proclaim the gospel to the least, the last and the lost.

The mission of Church Army USA is “to raise up evangelists to proclaim the gospel to the least, the last and the lost and to draw them into the life and mission of the church.” Its aim is to grow from a handful of domestic missionaries into a national movement of evangelism among the marginalised.

Their strategy is two pronged:

• providing evangelism and outreach training events and resources to the church.
• serving the poor through base planting.

These two focal points are far from separate initiatives but together make up a dynamic force for mission.

A Church Army base of evangelism is defined as “a community of faith where the least are reached for Jesus and drawn into the life and mission of the church. One way of understanding our base planting strategy is to see it as planting church among our target groups that resonate with the ‘emerging forms’ movement.”

Church Army USA depends radically upon the God of miraculous provision, protection, and fruitfulness.
