Admitting and Commissioning of new Church Army Evangelists July 2006

The Rt Revd John Gladwin, The Bishop of Chelmsford, admitted 14 new Church Army Evangelists to the Office of Evangelist at a special service held in Sheffield Cathedral at 5.30pm on Tuesday 11th July 2006.

On 12th July Captain Philip Johanson OBE, Chief Secretary of Church Army, commissioned the new Church Army Evangelists at a service held at The Wilson Carlile College of Evangelism in Sheffield at 11am.

Simon Mason

To work as Mission Pioneer at Holy Trinity Meole Brace in the Diocese of Lichfield

Bruce Milligan

To work as Project Leader for the Church Plant on the Gellideg Estate, Merthyr Tydfil, South Wales in the Diocese of Llandaff

Nicholas Rae

To work as an Evangelist with special emphasis on spirituality in film

Paul Rose

To work as Youth and Community Evangelist in the Diocese of Carlisle

Richard Tett

To work as an Evangelist with the Church Army Bus Project, in the Diocese of Chester

Richard Thomas

To continue as Community Development & Support Worker with The Bridge Marylebone Project, Cosway Street in the Diocese of London

Lizzie Wallace

To work as Parish Missioner with a focus on children, young people and families at Wadsley parish church, Sheffield, in the Diocese of Sheffield

Shena Woolridge

To work as Community Mission Pioneer in the parishes of Hunmanby & Munston, in the Diocese of York
