Heathrow Airport Man Lands Key Church Army Post
For a number of years Neil Biles worked for Vardon, setting up and running a number of visitor attractions including the Tynemouth Sea Life Centre and the New Forest Nature Quest, but has now joined forces with Church Army. He has been appointed Corporate Planner and Personal Assistant to Chief Secretary Philip Johanson. Neil is married to Jackie, they have four children ranging in age from seven to fourteen and live in Weymouth.
Neil and Jackie ran Church Army's Brookfield House Youth Holiday and Conference Centre in Victoria, London, from 1983 to 1988. More recently Neil has been working for Alpha Flight Services based at Heathrow Airport. His job involved working in a team called Innovate, which was about reviewing the business as it stands, looking to what the organisation should look like in the future and building a process to move the organisation into a position to create change. Prior to the job with Alpha Flight Services, Neil was the Business Development Manager for iCS Communications
Neil's re-introduction to Church Army was a two-day residential Board meeting at Church Army's Wilson Carlile College of Evangelism in Sheffield.
