Monica, from Chadwell Heath attends Cranbrook Rd Baptist Church in Ilford and was one of around 300 people who entered a free competition at the Church Army stand at this years Christian Resources Exhibition in Sandown. Less than 4 weeks later, courtesy of www.2wheeltreks.co.uk Monica and her husband Al, joined a party of 9 for a weekends cycling in the beautiful setting of Somerset/Devon border country.
Monica commented: It was a fantastic weekend, the weather was glorious and we met a really good group of people. After cycling in the day, we had some thoughtful bible study in the evenings. Al and I discovered cycling skills we didnt know we had . Husband Al added: It was fantastic, we have never done anything like this before and we really enjoyed it. We have three children and we are seriously looking into setting up a cycling holiday for the whole family next time.
