RU UP 4 IT? - Church Army unveils search for entrepreneurs and pioneers
Church Army has adopted a new slogan and eye catching new look to help attract entrepreneurs and pioneers into Christian ministry focussed on equipping and enabling evangelists for the future.
South London based 'Holland Clarke Consultancy' were briefed to come up with a look that would be uncompromising in its imagery and attract people up for the challenge of Christian ministry focussed on reaching those who have not yet discovered faith. The banner and artwork will be used at church, youth and vocational events sporting the challenge RU UP 4 IT?
First Contact scheme co-ordinator Ray Khan comments: I hope that this new look will provoke a positive response that helps us to engage with people who are challenged by the prospect of ministry on the edge - evangelism means a real lifestyle change for most people and we want to put across this clearly and positively. I am delighted with the way Holland Clarke have tackled our challenging brief
Last month Church Army adopted new selection criteria grounded in the entrepreneurial characteristics identified by trainer and management guru Bill Bolton, author of The entrepreneur in focus - achieve your potential.
This summer Church Armys supporter magazine used a powerful image of a cosmic surfer for an issue headlined "tomorrow's evangelism today" aimed at capturing the spirit of a forward-looking organisation focussed on mission in a post-Christian culture.
