Xplore launches on You Tube
19 November 2007
Xplore, Church Army's global gap year programme has launched on YouTube with a short film that introduces Mike, Damien, Winnie and Ryan the first four young people on the scheme. In the short movie the team share something of
their call to Xplore Christian ministry, and give some insight into their hopes and expectations of what they will be discovering over the next few months. At the recent Church Army AGM the Xplorers told Church Army supporters and staff that the next phase of their journey would involve placements in Jamaica, New Orleans, Canada and New South Wales. The plan is for the team to produce a Y ouTube video account of their progress over the next year on the programme.
Xplore was launched in September 2007 and aims to make mission a top priority for young people aged 18-25 who want to be motivated, trained and equipped for modern mission and have a heart to serve the least, the last and the lost.
