30 Minute prayers cured 30 year illness

Through the Valley of Hope Project in The South Wales valleys, Church Army Evangelist Ralph Upton introduced 30 minutes of Prayers every Friday afternoon for staff together with a separate one and half hour meeting for the clients.

Not long after the 30 minute prayers were set up, Deputy Manager Paul asked for prayer for healing at the staff prayer meeting, after a 30 year struggle with his health. Ralph along with his team members, Carol (Ralph's wife) and Sue prayed for Paul, placing their hands upon Paul they prayed for spiritual healing. Paul says "I found this period very spiritual for myself and felt a total feeling of grace."

Recently, Paul was sent for a MRI scan, followed by a doctor's appointment. The medic concluded that there were no sign of the health condition he had been battling for many years. "I really believed God had intervened and along with the prayers received from the Prayer group, his healing powers took over", says Paul.

Ralph Upton comments "We believe God is able to move in power today as much as in Biblical times and this is a demonstration of the power and love of God."
