                                                                                                                          29 September 2009

The  Christian Enquiry Agency (CEA) has announced that Church Army is to become a major strategic and managerial partner in the future development of its website.

Christian Enquiry AgencyThe CEA website operates on behalf of all the major churches and mission agencies as a central point of contact for people to explore Christian faith. The CEA Council and Trustees will continue to lead the Agency and ensure its broad denominational basis is protected and maintained.

A development programme is being drawn up to expand the internet based ministry alongside the paper based resources, to ensure that CEA remains a leading organisation for those enquiring about Christianity. A part time co-ordinator will be employed by CEA and managed by Church Army. The co-ordinator will bring a range of technical, support and creative skills to be used in the developments. Church Army will also work with the Enquiry Office team at Deo Gloria Trust in South Croydon to increase the response mechanisms in line with the ongoing developments.

Church Army's Chief Executive Mark Russell said: "Church Army is passionate about communicating the gospel to the 7 out of 10 people who would never walk into a church. So we are looking forward to working in partnership with CEA, and helping people engage with the Christian faith in relevant and exciting ways.”
