Caprice celebrates Thanksgiving with Church Army!
News Release: 22 November 2010
Students from the American InterContinental University - along with US supermodel Caprice - will be providing a traditional Thanksgiving meal for the homeless women of Church Army's Marylebone Project.
Church Army's Marylebone Project works with vulnerable homeless women, empowering them towards independent living through helping them to make informed choices about their lives.
AIU is also based on Marylebone High Street and decided to donate the meal as part of their wish to give something back to the local community. On Thursday 25th November (Thanksgiving Day) AIU students and Caprice will help to carve the giant turkey and serve the meals.
Caprice said: "This is a great project to be working with, especially as Thanksgiving is close to my heart. I'm very much looking forward to meeting everyone."
Dr Randolf Cooper, Vice President of Academic Affairs of the AIU said: "We are happy to share the spirit of Thanksgiving with the community, and delighted that are students can be involved in supporting a local charity like the Marylebone Project."
