Church Army's Evangelists of tomorrow

In the latest issue of Shareit! magazine, Church Army introduces its new trainee Evangelists to the public.

Deborah Battersby, Maria Hembrow, Stuart Budden, Paul Smith, Jasper Rutherford and James Wilkinson will spend the next four years working alongside experienced Evangelists at Church Army Centres of Mission. They confess that they are "excited", "nervous" and "trusting in God now more than ever!"

Elsewhere in a packed issue, Church Army discusses the possibility of becoming a Missional Order [page 8], the potential of the pilot Ambassadors scheme [page 20] and how the Wilson Carlile 'Ethos' has survived over a century of social and cultural changes in Britain [page 17].

Shareit! also takes the opportunity to bid a fond farewell to the majority of staff in its Sidcup office, ahead of the relocation to Sheffield in January.
