Evangelist Support Scheme
It's all about your response!
Here's how it works!
Giving is something we believe in!
The Evangelist Support Scheme is a means by which evangelists can raise support for their ministry and Church Army. It is essentially a personal support raising scheme that has more than money at the heart of its objective.
The ministry
Our biggest challenge today is to "Make Jesus famous". The current generation knows little of its Christian heritage, much less the ways in which the Gospel can make the single biggest difference in their lives.

We employ a simple 3-point principle in seeking to fund this outreach work:
- Minister Unconditionally to those we meet
- Inspire Hearts with our words and actions
- Release Resources that will perpetuate this work
It's all about your response!
Designed to help you keep in contact with evangelists that you may wish to support through prayer and giving, ESS is a scheme that will enable you to read about specific ministries and their needs and how you can partner with them.
Our evangelists are uniquely placed through the work that they do to encourage more people to support Church Army.
Many of our donors would rather support an evangelist and their ministry than Church Army in general. ESS is one of several methods by which Church Army raises the necessary income to finance ministry. Over the last few years the response to ESS by supporters has shown that this is a mutually rewarding means by which both evangelist and supporter respond to God's direction in terms of receiving and giving.
Here's how it works!
Prayer
Prayer is at the heart of all we do, as this is our spiritual support. Our evangelists tell the story of their ministry, this often leads our prayer partners to increase their focus on an individual evangelist's ministry. ESS is designed to increase the number of people partnering us in prayer.
Support
Support is the second part of the scheme, we encourage our evangelist's to develop ways of getting the support they richly deserve. Isolation is a terrible thing, however, ESS can assist them to develop and maintain support networks that can be local or national. These support networks could include partners who would make available a place for them to stay, or someone who is willing to be a listening ear as well as professional support e.g. work consultancy.
Giving is something we believe in!
We fundamentally believe it is a blessing to give and to allow people to share in our ministry in this way. We recognise that each of us is called to encourage others to take up the call to partner with us on the journey, its burdens and blessings. When our evangelists talk about their needs, God's people will respond.
The greatest encouragement you will receive as a supporter is hearing about the lives that are transforming as a direct result of Church Army ministry.
