Peggy Boynes walked the extra mile
19th - 25th September 2012
Sister Peggy Boynes successfully completed her 76 mile walk from Reading to Bath, covering a mile for every year of her life plus one extra mile! She walked through sunshine and rain, talking to many people along the way, and ended her trek with Evening Prayers at Bath Abbey. She has raised over £3000 for the Church on the Bus Project in Derbyshire, and you can still support her in this fantastic achievement.
You can read more about Peggy's decision to go the extra mile.
