About The Marylebone Project
The Marylebone Project is a Registered Social Landlord set up through a partnership between Church Army and the Portman House Trust. We provide 112 long and short term beds to homeless women and offer essential facilities and support to women who visit our rough sleeper’s drop-in at the Marylebone Centre. The Marylebone Centre also delivers education, employment and training opportunities and meaningful activities in order to support service users into independent living.
The Marylebone Project social enterprise, Made in Marylebone, provides a catering service (Munch in Marylebone) and Central London meeting venues (Space in Marylebone). Through doing this it offers training and work experience for service users whilst producing ongoing funding for the Marylebone Project.
Those we support are often affected by substance misuse, unemployment, domestic violence and mental health issues. Whatever their story, we aim for the same ending; self-esteem, employment and independent living. We do this by providing shelter, emotional support, education opportunities, spiritual space, and events in a welcoming and secure environment.
We are honoured to be part of the Evening Standard 'Homeless Fund' campaign, aiming to tackle homelessness in London over the next 2 years. With the support of this initiative, we are hoping to achieve our vision of making the Marylebone Centre a 24/7 drop-in service for vulnerable women.

Reopening drop-ins at Marylebone Centre
We are thrilled that our Centre will become a 24 hour service for homeless women by Monday, 6th September 2021 and our opening hours are gradually extending. Please see our future opening hours below:
We are currently open from: 9.30am – 4.00pm Monday - Sunday
From Monday, 5th July 2021, the Centre will be open from 9.30am - 8.30pm
From Monday, 6th September 2021 the Centre will become a 24 hour service, open 7 days a week.
Health and Safety purposes, access to the drop-ins is by appointment only. To book an appointment please call 0203 959 1444 or e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org If you don't have an appointment, you still will be able to collect a food bag.
National Lottery Community Funded
Marylebone Project are proud to have been awarded £691,756 in May 2016 by the National Lottery Community Fund. This funding will be over 5 years and is part of the Women and Girls Initiative. We are one of 63 successful projects taking part in a programme to work with marginalised women, in a holistic way, to help them face a better future.
