Marylebone Project working in partnership with Church Army and the Portman House Trust, a registered Social Landlord, is a unique and exciting project providing a wide range of specialised services for homeless women in Central London since 1891.


Current Vacancies

 

Finance Administator

Full-time - 40 hrs per week - £23,947 pa 

Do you have:

  • excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to deal sensitively with people
  • experience of data entry and finance systems
  • good organisational and communication skills 
  • the ability to work under pressure
As part of the admin team, this role plays an active part in ensuring the team can deliver the various functions of the department and you therefore may be required to cover for other members of the team in the service assistant role and reception. This successful candidate will need to be a strong team player, who is willing to get stuck in and happy to help where needed.

If you are someone who with strong finance administrator skills, that wants to use them to make a difference in the charity sector and loves being part of a team, then this role is for you.

Receptionist

Full-time - 40 hrs per week - £23,019 pa 

Are you…
* Gifted in customer service, friendly, efficient and welcoming?
* Motivated by working as part of a team?
* Organised, a gifted multi-tasker with excellent attention to detail?
* Experienced in working with vulnerable people?
* Resilient, like a challenge and passionate about seeing the lives of homeless women transformed.

We are looking for someone to greet all service users, guests and visitors to the Project in a warm and friendly manner; ensure only authorised people enter the Project; maintain health and safety standards and reception tidiness; answer queries and questions and incoming calls and enquiries; receive letters and packages; check, sort and forward emails; compile the Project Newsletter and assist in updating social media and website; and maintain records and data. Bank Holiday cover will be required.

Services Assistant

We are looking for someone to oversee the general Project administrative services and day to day functions of the Project; maintain office equipment and resources, keys and fobs systems; participate in procurement of resources and stationery; assist with recruitment; participate in local payroll duties; manage service users feedback; liaise with donors; assist in updating social media and website; and maintain all records and data. Bank Holiday cover may be required.
