Welcome to the Amber Project Website

The Amber Project exists to support any young person (aged 14-25) in Cardiff and the surrounding areas who has experience of self-harm.

Please feel free to look around, and if you have any questions or think that we might be able to help, please do contact us. We are open usual office hours Monday - Friday. Unfortunately we can't offer a drop-in service so you will need to make an appointment. Visit the 'What happens next' section of the About Us page for more details.

As the Coronavirus (COVID 19) outbreak continues to rapidly develop, we have reluctantly taken the decision to close the Amber Project office and work remotely from home.

If you are a young person who accesses the project you should soon be contacted by a support worker. If you are accessing counselling, two of our counsellors (Louise and Rachel) are also offering support during this difficult period; it is not counselling as such but will hopefully provide you with emotional support,

If you currently access 'Amber' and we don't get in touch, please contact us.

Caryl and Stacey will be working office hours 9:00-5:00;

Caryl: 07905 905437
Stacey: 07450 06902

Beth and Minnie will continue to work on a part time basis;

Beth:  07817 027123
Minnie: 07719 560180

 The wellbeing of the children and young people who access 'Amber' is paramount, and we ask that you bear with us at this difficult time.

If you have any questions, please do contact us.

We would like to apologise for the delay in responding to referrals. We appreciate that a number of people have been waiting some time to hear from us. Please continue to be patient; we will be in touch as soon as possible.
