Welcome to the Amber Project Website
The Amber Project exists to support any young person (aged 14-25) in Cardiff and the surrounding areas who has experience of self-harm.
Please feel free to look around, and if you have any questions or think that we might be able to help, please do contact us. We are available Monday - Friday, 9:30-5:30. Unfortunately the pandemic has had a huge impact on our services, but we are now able to take new referrals and are offering a range of support.
The Amber Project is delighted to release the third trailer for our 2021 pantomime:
Robyn Hood, The Legend of Sherwood.
(This project was supported by Glamorgan Voluntary Services through the COVID-19 High Risk Groups Charity and Voluntary Group Small Grant Scheme.)
Covid-19 / Amber and Referrals
The office is covered for the majority of each week. For the time being initial meetings will largely continue to take place by Zoom or phone. Please be patient if you have been referred or made a referral to the project and haven't heard from us. At present there is a huge demand for the service and we are taking approximately 12-14 weeks to respond to referrals.
If you currently access the project or have done in the past and you need additional support please do contact us.
